Eric Carle Butterflies

The Caterpillar Turned into a Beautiful Butterfly

We painted butterflies in the Eric Carle style.
(A.K.A. we painted randomly and cut out the prettiest parts.)
I used a butterfly shaped cookie cutter and traced on the most beautiful spots.

We also painted clouds like Eric Carle.
We used shaving cream on blue paper.
It started out as pink, but as she painted with it, it turned white.

We let it dry and glued on the butterflies.
She loves using glue sticks.

Lastly, she added little antenna to complete it.

Have you ever heard of the Eric Carle book Little Cloud?

It's cute and perfect for spring.

Thanks Smilemonsters for featuring this post!
