Little Miss Spider

I am so excited about bug week!
I actually took the time to get books from the library this time.
We read Little Miss Spider


I was also inspired by No Time For Flash Cards
And her post about child creativity.
She said that you should let kids have freedom,
and guide them slightly.

So we decided to do that...
I pulled out a supplies & put them in a muffin tin.
She had a ball!
She designed a headband for herself, made a necklace,
and a bunch of spiders.

I also gave her egg carton bits,
She had fun painting them.
It's funny, when she has a chance to feel successful,
She is a lot less sassy!

She glued them onto a paper and made legs and a web.

Fun free art!
P.S. She kept coloring, cutting, and pasting
For a while after she finished her spiders.
